Top 10 in 5 Categories at OSBÜK-OSB Stars

The results of the OSBÜK-OSB Stars Survey, conducted in cooperation with the Organized Industrial Zones Supreme Organization (OSBÜK) and TurkishTime, have been announced.

According to the survey, which was conducted for the first time in Türkiye, World Medicine succeeded in ranking among the top 10 out of 100 companies in all 5 categories in which it participated. Sohrab Mammadli, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of World Medicine, said, “This achievement demonstrates the soundness of our investment plans in Türkiye, where we have been operating since 2011. We will continue our investments in Türkiye.”

According to the survey results determined across 5 main and 5 sub-categories, World Medicine became the 10th company with the highest investment, with an investment amount of TRY 244,320,686. The company also entered the list in 10th place with its R&D investment of TRY 36,124,281. Ranking 9th among the companies with the highest number of patents, World Medicine also became one of the top 5 companies in the trademark registration category.

Stating that they have continuously increased their export and import figures, Sohrab Mammadli, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of World Medicine, said, “It is a great source of pride for us that our efforts have been recognized with awards. In the same year, we ranked third in Pharmaceutical Products Exports. In 2019, thanks to our successful export performance, we ranked second in İKMİB’s ‘Stars of Export - Pharmaceutical Exports’ category, and in 2020 we rose to first place. As World Medicine, we also entered the ISO 500 list this year, surpassing many organizations that had appeared on the list in previous years, and ranked 5th in our sector.
