Talent Acquisition Process

Talent Acquisition Process


Applicants who have started the process towards being a WM employee are evaluated by our Talent Acquisition team through telephone or online interviews and then undergo face-to-face competency-based interviews with the managers.

A foreign language examination is applied to shortlisted WM applicants. The measurement of proficiency of the expected foreign language at the different levels required by the role may be highly important depending on the position.

After the Competence-Based Interview and General Ability and Foreign Language Examination, WM applicants attend interviews with the managers so the Occupational and Technical Evaluation can be conducted accurately. Such interviews are phases in which the manager observes the candidate face-to-face and assesses their competences and behaviors as required for the work, while offering the opportunity to explain the technical aspects of the work in greater detail.

Candidates who have progressed positively in the stages of their application undergo reference checks in the final phase of the process. Reference checks are conducted by calling the individuals deemed to have the best knowledge of the applicant, as listed with the approval of the candidate.

After having completed a period of 6 months in our company, employees are provided with Supplementary Private Health Insurance, Individual Pension Contribution and Seniority Premiums

  1. Those completing a period of 3 years in the company receive a Seniority Premium equal to a full month’s Salary;
  2. Those completing a period of 6 years in the company receive a Seniority Premium equal to two month’s Salary;
  3. Those completing a period of 10 years or more receive a Seniority Premium equal to three month’s Salary.
