Türkiye’s Pharmaceutical Export Champion
The winners of the 2022 “Stars of Export Awards Ceremony,” held annually by the Istanbul Chemicals and Chemical Products Exporters’ Association (İKMİB), have been announced. The company with the highest pharmaceutical exports did not change this year either. World Medicine maintained its leadership in pharmaceutical exports.
The Stars of Export Awards 2022 Ceremony, organized by the Istanbul Chemicals and Chemical Products Exporters’ Association (İKMİB) to honor and encourage companies in the chemicals sector for their export achievements, was held on the evening of June 16. At the ceremony, which was organized for the eighth time this year, World Medicine once again claimed the top position in pharmaceutical exports.
Sohrab Mammadli, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of World Medicine, stated: “Being honored by many different institutions and organizations in recognition of our export and R&D investments is a great source of pride for us. As we have shared before, every award we have received has encouraged us to work even harder, and the point we have reached today proves this once again. In order to remain at the top and preserve our leadership in pharmaceutical exports, we continue to increase our manufacturing activities and expand our investments. Our goal now is to become the one brand that comes to mind when pharmaceutical exports in Türkiye are mentioned.”
Sohrab Mammadli added: “Since the very first day we started operating in 2011, the number of countries we export to has increased every year, and today we export pharmaceuticals to more than 35 countries. This shows that, as World Medicine, we are getting closer every day to our goal of positioning Türkiye as a pharmaceutical production hub in the world, while moving forward with confidence toward becoming the pharmaceutical company that contributes the most to the Turkish economy.”
