Education Transforms

At the 44th Istanbul Marathon held on November 6, World Medicine ran for the “Education Transforms” project in cooperation with the Turkish Education Association (TED) in order to contribute to the education of young people, who represent our future.

In line with the mission of equal opportunity in education, World Medicine employees took part in the 44th Istanbul Marathon together with the Turkish Education Association (TED) to support successful children studying in public schools who have limited financial means under the “Education Transforms” project. The Istanbul Marathon, organized every November to contribute to the education of young people, who are the bright future of Türkiye, and to raise awareness about the importance of education, was held this year on November 6.

World Medicine once again ran for good together with its employees this year. As a result of the donations collected through the Adım Adım / Running for Good platform, World Medicine reached the amount needed to cover one year of educational expenses for 3 children. In total, approximately TRY 200,000 was raised by all corporate teams running for TED.

With World Medicine also participating on a corporate level, this event marked an important step toward a healthier and stronger future.
