World Medicine

At World Medicine, we have been carrying out our activities in Turkey since 2011 with a wide portfolio which includes more than 500 pharmacological products. We offer accessible and effective products to more than 50 countries in line with an approach based on sustainable quality and innovation.

We keep our finger on the pulse of developments with the aim of being a reliable business partner and leading company in all of the countries and fields we are active in, and we develop our investments in line with this vision.

In 2016, we won the prize in the category of biggest investor in R&D among 250 pharmaceuticals companies and in 2017, we were awarded as the company to undertake the highest number of international trademark patent applications. We also won the prize for being the biggest investor in R&D in 2017 among 250 pharmaceuticals companies.

In addition to the prizes recognizing our R&D activities, we were ranked as the 9th biggest exporter of Pharmaceutical Products in 2016 while ranking 3rd in 2017, and were awarded the prize of being the fastest-rising company. In 2018, we won third prize in the award ceremony for Star Exporters. The study entitled “Turkey’s Largest 1000 Exporters - 2019” also ranked World Medicine 332nd among all companies offering services in various different sectors in Turkey, a rise of 60 places over the previous year. We were ranked second in the category of “Export Stars – Exporters of Pharmaceuticals” by the İKMİB (Istanbul Chemicals and Chemical Products Exporters Association) in recognition of our successful performance in exports in the previous year, and rose to top place in 2020. According to the export data 2022 and 2023, World Medicine maintains its top position as Turkey's pharmaceutical export champion. World Medicine also gained the accolade of ranking fifth in the sector by entering the ISO 500, taking the place of several pharmaceuticals and pharmaceutics companies which had been in the list in previous years. At World Medicine, we have achieved our export targets and will strive unwaveringly to cement our place at the top.

In the coming period, we will support our operations with our new production center, our qualified colleagues, our R&D center equipped with cutting edge technology and our facilities, and will increase our production capacity. We have mapped out our next steps by meticulously planning each and every step we have taken so far. All the prizes which we have won are the result of the right planning, astute business strategies and achievable targets. In every field we are active, we will work together to advance the name of World Medicine to new pinnacles and maintain our place in those areas where we are already the leader.
